Microwave ovens have entered our life very rapidly. More recently, this technique was the subject of science fiction, but now every second person has such a useful thing at home. After all, with such a device you can heat food or defrost the necessary products in a few minutes. At the same time, you will not see any burning and fat.
Despite the lack of fat, the internal parts of the microwave often get dirty. Let’s see how to take care of the microwave at home.
There are 5 rules for cleaning the microwave oven:
– Before carrying out any procedures, the device must be disconnected from the mains.
– In no case do not use metal sponges or scouring pads to clean the microwave.
– Clean the microwave with a minimum amount of water so as not to flood the elements of the device.
– It is strictly forbidden to use aggressive means for cleaning the microwave, both outside and inside.
– It is better not to try to disassemble the device yourself.
Many manufacturers of household chemicals produce special products for cleaning microwave ovens. As a rule, they are presented in the form of sprays. Instructions for use are indicated on the package. Manufacturers recommend applying the product to the walls and bottom of the oven, leaving it for a couple of minutes, and then wiping it with a damp cloth.
You can clean the microwave in a more economical way without purchasing special chemicals. There are several improvised means by which you can clean the oven: soda, citric acid, vinegar, laundry soap, and fresh citrus.
The most pleasant method is the last one. After all, in addition to cleaning the stove, you also aromatize the air. Cut the citrus into pieces, fill it with water, and put it in the microwave, setting it to maximum power for 5-20 minutes. After turning off the microwave, let the container stay in it for a while. Then wipe it with a damp cloth, removing all the dirt.
You can replace fresh fruit with citric acid. Dissolve 1 sachet in 250 ml of water, and put the container with the solution in the microwave oven.
The same can be done with vinegar. However, you can clean the microwave with such a tool only if the room where the appliance is located is well-ventilated.
If you want to clean the oven with soda, then dissolve a tablespoon of soda in a glass of water.
Put the container with the solution in the oven for 15-20 minutes at high power. Then clean the device, as in the previous methods.
One of the oldest and most reliable methods is considered to be laundry soap. This forgotten by everyone product is able to clean a lot of dirt. To clean the microwave oven, foam soap or soap a cloth with it. Wipe the surface of the microwave and leave it for a few minutes, then remove the soap along with the dirt.
