Preparation for transportation
Before immersing the washing machine in the machine, it is necessary to prepare thoroughly.
First of all, you should completely get rid of moisture from the equipment, otherwise, the remaining water will leak out and damage the internal elements of the machine in the worst case, and in the best case – the skin.
To get rid of the water in the tank, the user needs to tilt the washing machine slightly and remove the drain hose from the hole in the pipe. The next step is to CLOSE the container intended for the powder, as well as the door. It is necessary to carefully wrap wide insulating tape or tape first around the joints, and then over the entire surface of the hatch and tray, capturing part of the case. The owner of the machine should use several layers.
The final chord of preparation – bolts designed specifically for transportation, which should be used to secure the drum. Without this fixation, it will hang inside the washing machine during transportation, which will lead to damage to the drum itself or the walls of the machine.
Transportation
The instructions for washing machines indicate the requirements that allow the safe transportation of such equipment. In addition to the actions described above, it is reported there that the unit must be transported only vertically, while securely fixing it in the vehicle.
Violating the rules, the owner of the machine takes a risk, but it happens that the dimensions of the trunk or body do not allow transporting the device by installing it vertically.
